Yoshinogawa is a brewery located in the city of Nagaoka, in a part known for making sake and soy sauce. With lot's of sake to try at the brewery, I decided to pick this bottle during my visit.
First thing I notice is that this sake has a lot of umami! It covers the inside of the mouth very quickly. This sake is also a tiny bit dry and has a bit of acidity. This sake has a very nice fresh and fruity feeling, with flavors of melon, peach, apricot and white flowers.
I enjoyed trying this sake. This sake would pair well with some nice salty foods, like yakitori for example, to make the flavors even more fruity and fresh. Overall a solid sake!
