Kokki Beige

While trying this sake at Kokki Brewery in Matsue, I didn't have to think about it before buying. This was an insta-buy for me!

First, before we get into the sake itself, let's appreciate the embroided label. First time seeing such a label, and I hope to more of those! The aromas of this sake are very mellow, and difficult to discern, but that changes when taking a sip. This sake is sweet, fruity, intense and a tiny bit acidic. This sake has a buttery like feeling as well. With fruity flavors of melon, banana, apricot, cherry.

I am a big fan of this sake. The fact that this sake won prizes as well does not surprise me. I will get another bottle when I can!
