Description

It is quite rare to find a good namazake here in the Netherlands, but thankfully I found one. Because of lack of knowledge of how to store namazake properly, most namazake you can find here are old and stale. This one on the other hand, is not one of those examples. Opening this bottle, my nose immediately gets filled with fruity aromas. I am excited to try this one.

Pouring this sake in my glass, I am surprised this sake is almost translucent. There is a slight hint of color in this sake. I expected it to be more yellow. Taking a sip, your mouth fills itself it fruity flavors: apple, melon, blueberry, pear. I also get hints of bubblegum. In contrast to it's very fresh nature, it is also quite heavy. At 18% alchohol, it's quite a heavy sake to drink. This is also accompanied by quite a lot of umani.

Overall, an absolute great sake to drink. This has everything I personally like in a sake: freshness, body, impact, flavor. I will definitely get another bottle of this sake!
