Description

I am a sucker to try sake that pretty much has every 'option' there is. One of my favorite sake also has a lobel on it that say Muroka Nama Genshu, so I had to try this bottle as well.

Since this is a namazake, and very young, this has a very nice fresh and crisp aroma. Even though this is an undilited sake, at 18% alcohol, I find it quite easy to drink. It does not feel super heavy, as other Genshu might be. The alcohol is not to be underestimated though. The flavor profile also tastes fresh, with a very crips rice, yoghurt, milk and grain flavor. It's high in umami and acidity, and even though aspect of this sake is full and high, it also feels balanced.

This sake is great. It's not for everyone though, but for me personally, I would gladly buy this again. Give me a good cheese and this bottle, and me and my friends will have a great night.
