While at the Imoya Tsukasa brewery I decided to participate in a sake Gachapon, and this was my prize! Not too shabby to be honest. Let's see how it is.
Pouring it into my cup, I can faintly smell fruity aromas coming from the sake. This sake is made in a typical Niigata style: soft and clean. All flavors that are in this sake are very low-key, but you will find a lot of umami to be present in this sake. It has flavors of pear, apple, lemon and peach, that will quickly disappear after swallowing.
This is a very typical Niigata style sake. If you like that style, you will like this sake!
