Description

The Junmai Daiginjo of Endo Shuzou's 'Comet' series. It got recommended to me while visiting the brewery store, and the bottle did grab my attention.

According to the website of Endo Shuzou, this sake is supposed to be balanced, and to be fair, I don't think there is another word to really describe this. The aromas are light, the mouthfeel is light, has a bit of umami, has a bit of acidity, and the alcohol is there, but not really present. The flavors are fruity, but also take some effort to distinguish: melon, strawberry, lemon, lime. The finish is dry.

If you like more delicate sake, this one will suit you. It's very good, and a sake that can be drank a lot of without much effort!
