Description

Gifts are always nice, right? I got this bottle from a friend who lives close by this brewery, which is located in Umi, Fukuoka. And since it's the season, at time of trying this, let's see if it's a winter fit.

This sake looks very clear, and the aromas coming from the glass are very subdued. It takes some effort, but I am able to spot some florality. The taste on the other hand is very clear: a bit sweet, high in umami and fruity notes: apple, apricot, banana and a bit of blossom. The aftertaste isn't short, but also not very long.

I think this sake can go very well with some sweets. While I prefer my winter sake to pack a bit more of a punch, it's overall very solid!
