Description

I am a sucker for limited edition items, so of course this also applies to sake. This is a limited sake I got during my visit to the brewery in Kawaguchiko.

This sake has a slight lemony color, and it is quite clear this is a fruity sake. Seeing as they use soft water for their sake, the body of this sake is very light and easy to drink. Having said that, it does have quite some umami, is sweet, and the fruity flavors do come through. Lots of green flavors like melon, pear, a bit of peach, apple and some white flowers.

I think this is a solid sake. I don't think I would go to their brewery just to pick it up, but if you are in the neighbourhood of Kawaguchiko, give it a try.
