The quote above was sent to me at the beginning of November 2019 by a very good and dear friend, after she met a sake salesman and instructor at an event. That quote was the start of a new interest that also made me decide to make this website. 

As someone who has always had an interest in everything food and drink related, it wasn’t a very tough decision to enroll in the WSET 1 Sake course, that was scheduled later that month in Amsterdam. The course was so incredibly fun and interesting, that I decided I wanted to know more about and taste more sake. In the Summer of 2020, my friend and I participated in the WSET 3 Sake course and since then I have been very passionate about everything sake. 

This website will mostly be used as a compendium of the sake I tried, events I went to, and breweries visited. And hopefully some of you will also find this interesting.
